Bengaluru: Man jumps to death from 4th floor while attempting to escape police

Bengaluru: A youth fell to death from the fourth floor of the building while attempting to escape from police.
The deceased has been identified as Mohammad Hussain, a 31-year-old resident of Bommanahalli.
The incident took place when a police team arrived at Hussain’s residence on Beguru Road to arrest in connection with the case filed by a couple alleging that he had threatened their daughter.
Upon being sighted by the police officers, Hussain made a fateful decision and jumped from the fourth floor of his house in a desperate bid to evade capture. Regrettably, he suffered fatal injuries and succumbed.
The mortal remains of Mohammad Hussain have been sent for post-mortem examination, and once the procedure is complete, it will be returned to his family members, as confirmed by the police.
A case has been registered at the Bommanahalli police station to investigate the circumstances surrounding the incident.
Meanwhile, Mohammad Hussain’s parents have come forward with allegations that their son was subjected to police brutality, resulting in his tragic demise.
