Bengaluru: Man kills father for scolding him; Arrested

Bengaluru: Police officials have arrested a 23-year-old man for allegedly murdering his father on their agricultural land in Kadugodi.

The arrested accused has been identified as Rakesh Kumar, a resident of Khajisonnenahalli near Kadugodi. The deceased has been identified as N Channabasavaraju (53).

Rakesh quit his studies after 10 standard and began working on his father’s agricultural land.

It is said that Rakesh’s father had scolded him for not working properly and also said that Rakesh would have been successful if he had continued his studies.

Angered by this, Rakesh allegedly hit his father’s private part with a shovel and punched him to death. He later rushed home and informed his mother about the incident.

A case has been registered.
