Bengaluru: Man lures woman into going nude over video call, blackmails her using clip

Bengaluru: A man allegedly lured a woman into going nude during a video call and blackmailed her using a clip of the same in Bengaluru. The man asked the woman to pay Rs 3 lakh after he recorded the clip.

The accused has been identified as Ganesh (25) a native of Tamil Nadu. He was arrested after the woman filed a complaint at the Kadugodi Police station.

The man and the victim became friends on a dating app. He allegedly requested the woman to speak to him on video call. When the woman agreed,  she received a call from him.

The man asked her to go nude over a video call. The woman agreed to the same and he recorded the video call.

After which he began demanding money from her and also threatened to share the clip with her friends and relatives.

The woman then filed a police complaint, following which he was arrested.
