Bengaluru: Man sustains severe leg injuries after being hit by car while sitting outside his house

Bengaluru: A 40-year-old man sustained serious injuries to both legs after being hit by a car in Manjunathnagar on Sunday evening.
The injured, identified as Manjunath, an employee of a private company, was sitting outside his house under a tree, engrossed in his mobile phone when the incident took place around 4:30 PM.
A car lost control and rammed into him, leaving him with severe leg injuries. Local residents quickly rushed him to the hospital, where doctors have advised surgery due to the extent of the injuries.
The car driver, a local resident, also suffered minor injuries and has been admitted to the hospital.
Traffic police from the Vijayanagar station have registered a case and are investigating the incident.
