Bengaluru: Tilak Nagar police have arrested a 28-year-old man for allegedly using a hidden mobile camera to record videos of women in a restroom at a prominent hospital on Bannerghatta Main Road.
The accused, identified as Yallalinga from Kalaburagi was working as a ward helper at the hospital on a contractual basis for the past six months.
According to reports, on October 31, Yallalinga allegedly concealed a mobile phone on the wall of a women’s restroom on the hospital’s ground floor and set it to record.
The incident came to light when a 35-year-old female staff member of the hospital discovered the phone. Upon inspecting the device, she found it contained inappropriate footage. When Yallalinga noticed her coming out with his phone he approached her and requested the phone back.
