Bengaluru: A 6-year-old girl’s missing complaint took a bizarre twist after she was found asleep under a pile of clothes at her own house by the police here on Thursday evening.
As the child’s parents were unable to trace their daughter they felt that she had been kidnapped and rushed to KR Puram Police Station to lodge a missing complaint.
The police as well as her parents began a search for her in the neighbourhood. However, when they failed to locate her, they returned home. At that time they noticed that their daughter, who they thought was missing, had fallen asleep under a pile of clothes kept on the bed.
The relieved parents thanked the police for their efforts.
