Bengaluru: In a gruesome incident, a mother-son duo was found murdered in Ravindranagar on Wednesday.

The dead bodies of Navaneetha (33) and her son Srujan (11) were recovered from their residence, IANS reported police as saying.

According to the report, police suspect the deaths to have occurred on Tuesday evening. The boy seems to have been strangled, whereas his mother was stabbed to death. Both bodies were found lying on the bed, police said.

According to police, Navaneetha, who hailed from Andhra Pradesh, lived in the area for the past 3 years. She lived separately from her husband for 2 years.

No arrests have been made yet, but police suspect Navaneetha’s estranged husband may have killed them. A search is underway to locate him.  Police are also collecting information on who may have visited the victims’ house.
