In a bid to make the people wear helmet compulsorily the transportation department has decided to suspend the license for a period of three months.
The state government has issued a notification with this regard.
The license of those who do not wear a helmet will be suspended for three months along with penalties under Article 194-T of the Motor Vehicles Act 1988, stated the notification.
