Bengaluru: The Nandi Infrastructure Corridor Enterprises (NICE) has issued orders restricting the movement of two-wheelers during the night hours on the NICE road.
In a bid to reduce the number of accidents, two-wheelers will not be allowed on the NICE road between 10 pm and 5 am from January 16.
Of late the rising number of motorbike accidents during night time had been the highlight. In this context, joint commissioner of traffic Dr. B.R. Ravikant Gowda had asked NICE to take action for vehicular safety and had advised the agency to ban two-wheelers on the NICE road in the interest of passengers.
NICE has accepted the advice and has issued orders to restrict two-wheelers during night hours.
