Bengaluru: Police arrest man accused of robbing cousin’s jewelry

Bengaluru: The Karnataka police arrested a man for robbing his cousin’s jewelry worth Rs 31 lakh.
The arrested is Ajit (26), a resident of Madanayakanahalli.
On May 3rd, Savita, Ajit’s cousin sister noticed that a few of her jewelry were missing. The next day when the accused came home she followed him and found out that he was the one who robbed her gold.
She informed her husband about the incident. When confronted, Ajit confessed to his crime and promised Savita to return the jewelry soon. However, when they asked about the gold a few days later he threatened to kill them.
Savita then filed a case.
