Bengaluru police rescue another abandoned infant

Bengaluru: Not long after police found and dealt with an infant discovered abandoned among the bushes in Doddatagaru, another infant was found abandoned in an autoriskshaw by its proprietor, on June 5.
The rickshaw driver, A Doddappaiah generally takes people from the Kodigehalli railroad station to Nagavara. However, on June 5, his usual day turned unusual when he found the 8-day-old newborn infant in his vehicle.
On the night the infant was discovered, Doddappaiah went his usual route at around 10 pm in any case, found that the street near to the railroad station’s gate was under repair. He at that point decided to stop his rickshaw and walk to the station to find customers.
After coming back to his vehicle 15 minutes later, he saw that a group had accumulated around it. When he went to examine the issue, he found to his shock, that there was an infant in his auto. He promptly reached the police and kept the newborn child warm until they arrived.
After the police had taken the infant to the station, they fed him some packaged milk and took him to a clinic where the doctor assured them that the infant was healthy.
Afterward, the DCP (North-East) Kala Krishnaswamy, educated that the infant has been placed being taken care of by the Child Welfare Committee.
