Bengaluru: Police seize illegal jewellery worth crores, detain 2

Bengaluru: Night beat police here checking vehicles at a checkpost seized large quantities of jewellery that were being smuggled and detained two people.
The incidents occurred at Doddapete Circle where police officials stopped an Active scooter at the checkpost. On checking the vehicle the gold jewellery was found.
As the two riding on the scooter could not furnish any documents for the jewellery, both were then taken into custody.
The duo have been identified as Mumbai resident Dalapati Singh (34) and Rajasthan resident Vikas (35).
The police are investigating the case.
