Bengaluru: Police shoot at man for abducting, raping four-year-old girl

Bengaluru: The city police on Monday, October 12 opened fire at a man for allegedly kidnapped a four-year-old girl and raping her.
The accused is identified as Dinesh, the incident took place at Vatal Nagaraj Road.
Reportedly, on Sunday, October 11 Dinesh had kidnaped the child from Majestic and had allegedly raped the child after taking her to a deserted spot. The condition of the child is serious and she is being treated in a hospital.
The police were on the hunt for him since Sunday afternoon. Today Sunil Naik, inspector of Srirampura police station spotted Dinesh and shot him on his leg. He has been admitted to hospital with injuries.
The child is undergoing treatment at a hospital and her condition of the is serious, informed sources.
