Bengaluru: The Bengaluru police have warned citizens against taking up the ‘Kiki Challenge’ inspired by American rapper Drake’s latest song.
The Adugodi police tweeted the following message that was retweeted by the official handle of the Bengaluru city police.
“We strongly oppose the #kikichallenge as it puts the life of the performer and others on the road at risk, including vehicle damage.”
The “Kiki challenge”, also known as the “In My Feelings challenge”, involves jumping out of a moving car on to the street and dancing alongside it to Drake’s hit In My Feelings, while the car continues moving.
The challenge turned into a sensation after internet comedian Shiggy posted a video of himself performing to the song on to Instagram. Later, celebrities such as Hollywood actor Will Smith, Bollywood star Varun Dhawan, actress Nora Fatehi, Adah joined by taking up the challenge. However, in their cases the car was stationary.
Considering how the world is obsessed over this challenge, Anupam Agarwal, Deputy Commissioner of Police, Traffic (East) also took to social media to warn of legal action.
