Bengaluru: ‘PublicEye’ for reporting traffic violations

Bengaluru: City traffic police here have come up with an innovative and tech-savvy way to catch traffic violators.

PublicEye an app by the city’s traffic police department lets the common citizens register a violation noticed by them. Along with this, the department has also started using something called as ‘SmartRoute’ to manage the highly regulated traffic flow during the time of the day when the lockdown is relaxed.

The department, even under the work stress of the lockdown, is apprehending motorists who are over-speeding their vehicles, riding without helmet and driving under the influence of alcohol.
