Bengaluru: Residents of Bengaluru’s Anjanapura started an online petition on September 2, addressed to CM Basavaraj Bommai asking for the Anjanapura Double Road to be repaired.
The petition also addressed local MLA and Chairman of Bengaluru Development Authority (BDA) SR Vishwanath. The double road has not been repaired or asphalted in a decade now, the petition alleged.
Also, on September 4, the residents of Kanakpura planted paddy saplings and also ferried coracles to show their disdain over bad shape of the double road.
Similarly, The residents of Medharahalli near Dasarahalli also resorted to planting paddy on the slushy road in the area.
