Bengaluru: A speeding car lost control and flipped over the Yeshwantpur flyover on Sunday morning. Fortunately, there were no casualties in the incident.

The accident occurred around 3 a.m. on Sunday on the Yeshwantpur flyover. The car driver, Arjun, along with three friends, sustained minor injuries but escaped serious harm. Arjun, a bank employee, was traveling in a Creta car with his friends from R.T. Nagar towards Nandini Layout. Midway, the car lost control, hit the road divider, veered off the flyover, and flipped onto the adjacent road.

Bystanders quickly arrived at the scene, rescued the occupants trapped inside, and rushed them to the hospital.

Preliminary investigations reveal that overspeeding and negligent driving were the primary causes of the accident. A case has been registered against the driver, Arjun, at the Yeshwantpur Traffic Police Station, and further investigations are underway.
