Bengaluru Tech Summit 2021 to be held in Nov; PM Modi, US VP Kamala Harris to be invited

Bengaluru: Bengaluru Tech Summit 2021 is scheduled to be held from November 17 to 19 and Karnataka has decided to invite US Vice President Kamala Harris and Prime Minister Narendra Modi for its annual flagship event.
Deputy Chief Minister Dr C N Ashwatha Narayana on Monday said that in the wake of possible third wave of Covid-19 the conclave bearing the tagline, ‘Driving the Next,’ will be held in hybrid format.
He said union ministers Nirmala Sitharaman, Ravishankar Prasad, Dr HarshaVardhan and Nitin Gadkari among others will be invited to participate in these programmes.
Last year, the theme of the summit was “Next is Now” and was attended by Australia Prime Minister Scott Morrison, Swiss Confederation Vice President Guy Parmelin, and many other prominent international figures.
