Bengaluru: Three inter-state motorcycle thieves arrested

Bengaluru: Police officials have arrested three motorcycle thieves after a chase and seized 26 scooters worth Rs 20 lakh.
The arrested accused have been identified as Neduchelian (23), Tirupati (25) and Vallarasu (32). The gang specifically targeted Honda Dio scooters.
It is said that the thieves would come to Karnataka from Tamilnadu by bus and target vehicles parked in isolated places.
While one of them would try to break the bike lock another would watch out for any movements. The third would stay a little ahead and gather information about the potential victims.
The gang would then return to Tamil Nadu and sell the bikes for Rs 10,000 to Rs 15,000.
The accused were caught by beat police in Bommanahalli. It is said that they tried to take a diversion after spotting the police.
However, Cops caught them after a chase and the accused confessed their crimes.
