Bengaluru: Two including famous astrologer’s son arrested for ‘blackmailing’ Min ST Somashekhar’s son

Bengaluru: Police officials have arrested two persons in connection with blackmail calls made to Minister ST Somashekhar’s son, Nishanth.

One of the accused, Rahul Bhat is said to be the son of a famous astrologer. One more accused is said to be Somashekhar’s former gunman. Police are also suspecting the involvement of a Minister’s daughter.

The arrests were made following a complaint filed by Nishanth that stated he was being blackmailed using morphed videos.

Sources claim the accused used a London-based sim card to blackmail Nishanth.

Further investigations are underway.
