Bengaluru: Two men and a child killed in a truck accident

Bengaluru: Two men and a nine-year-old child died on spot after a truck rammed into their bike near Bommanahalli gate on Saturday night.

The deceased has been identified as Anand (45), his nine-year-old son Vishal and his cousin Shashidar (22). The family resided at Hanumanthapura. The accident took place at around 8 pm when they were returning back from a wedding in a bike. The truck driver had lost control and took a sharp right turn. The truck crossed the divider and rammed into the bike and a minibus which were coming in the opposite direction. The truck driver fled the spot after the accident.

The ones in the bike were killed on spot and four others in the minibus were injured. The injured were immediately rushed to the hospital.

The Nelamangala police have filed a case and are in search for the truck driver who is absconding.
