Bengaluru: Two men who were attempting to fly to Abu Dhabi with fabricated passports were arrested at Kempegowda International Airport.
The arrested have been identified as Somireddy Palli(38) and Nagipogu Babu, (42) residents of Mahabubnagar. They have been booked under the Passports Act.
It is said that during the inspection, officials found that they had torn the employment visa stamping sheet and pasted a visiting visa stamp on another sheet.
Sources claim that the accused had earlier tried to board a flight in Chennai airport but were offloaded by officials. The accused were in touch with an agent who helped them get visiting visa stamps on their passports. The agent is still absconding.
