Bengaluru: Udupi-based youth steals Rs 30 lac from ATM; Arrested

Bengaluru: Udupi-based youth, Vinay Jogi who stole more than Rs 30 lac from an ATM and sent Rs 14 lac to his parents has been arrested by Byadarahalli police in Bengaluru.

Vinay Jogi used to work for Secure Value Agency which undertakes the work of putting cash in ATMs on behalf of banks.

It is said during the auditing  in August, it was found that there was a shortfall of Rs 30 lac, the same month  Vinay was absent and also had switched off his mobile phone.

Later, the agency reported the issue to police and while investigation they succeeded in recovering Rs 25.5 lac from Jogi.
