Bengaluru: When remaining glued to the news and social media feeds on Covid-19 can be emotionally draining even for commoners, how about the condition of our frontline warriors who are physically and mentally leading the fight against Coronavirus. In order to deal with stress, exhaustion, and sadness, the doctors at Victoria Hospital have prescribed for themselves a dose of dancing.
On the advice of psychiatrists, they have decided to relax each day after work and many have chosen dancing. Each day after treating COVID-19 patients the doctors are seen shaking their leg to overcome the stress and they call it the Happy Dance.
It’s helping them smile and blow off steam. Dancing is preferred simply because it helps to attain the desired fitness levels and music eases the mental stress.
It may be recalled that recently, a video of Chennai doctors doing the Happy Dance went viral.
