Cricketer Virat Kohli and his wife actress Anushka Sharma were spotted enjoying some scrumptious South-Indian food in CTR Bengaluru on Saturday.
Anushka and Virat smiled and posed with the staff of CTR inside the restaurant, the picture has gone viral on the social media platforms.
The Bollywood star even took to Instagram to share updates with her fans, posting pictures of dosa, halwa, vada, and ice cream. Accompanied by her husband, Indian cricketer Virat Kohli, and her parents, Anushka seemed to have had a great time at the food joint.
The official Instagram handle of the restaurant also expressed their gratitude towards the couple and their family, saying, “It was lovely hosting you @virat.kohli and your family! Looking forward to your next visit.”
Currently, Virat Kohli is busy playing for the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL). RCB is set to take on the Rajasthan Royals on Sunday in Bangalore.
Anushka Sharma was last seen on the big screen in the 2018 comedy-drama film Zero, alongside Shah Rukh Khan and Katrina Kaif. However, the actress is all set to make a comeback with her upcoming film Chakda Xpress.
In the movie, Anushka will be essaying the role of iconic Indian pace bowler Jhulan Goswami. This will be her first time playing a cricketer on-screen.
Chakda Xpress is being produced by Anushka’s brother Karnesh Sharma under their home production company Clean Slate Filmz. The film’s release date is yet to be announced.
