Bengaluru youth goes missing while bathing at Kukke Kumaradhara river

Bengaluru: A 25-year-old youth from Bengaluru went missing on Sunday, August 21 while having a bath at Kumaradhara river at Kukke Subramanya near here.
The missing youth is Shivu, a native of Mandya. He working in Bengaluru
Reportedly, a team of 21 people had visited Horanadu, Shringeri, Kollur, Murudeshwara, Anegudde, Udupi, Kateel, Dharmasthala, and Sauthadka. On Sunday the group came to Kukke Subramanya, after taking Darshan of the deity, the youths got down into the river for having a bath.
After learning about the incident, the Police, fire service personnel and local expert swimmers searched for the missing youth in the river but could not trace him. The search operation was stopped after dark. Officials said that the search will continue on Monday.
