The technological advances moving so rapidly didn’t stop the biggest names in the industry from coming up with amazing new products in 2020. Although a very unusual year, 2020 led to several smartphone launches at the beginning of this new year. All of them so very exciting and highly awaited by the public.
Some of them promise innovative design, advanced software updates, new and much more effective cameras. Others stress the importance of 5G support, while some developers foresaw the need for budget-friendly new devices.
Most people are deeply excited about the new smartphone releases in 2021 since the user experience improves from one launch to another. Truth be told, smartphones represent today an extension of our life and everything we do. From managing our social life or a growing business to having limitless fun like wagering at the best online casino. Regardless of our needs, the new smartphones are here and ready to improve our daily life.
Apple iPhone SE Plus
One of the most expected devices from Apple last year was the SE version of the iPhone. The public is very keen on this model since it is the most affordable version Apple has in store. While the iPhone 12 launch didn’t bring a new iPhone SE, Apple fans are very thrilled at the rumors of the Apple iPhone SE Plus launch this coming April.
The same rumors talk about a 6.1-inch display, A13/14 Bionic chipset, and a 12MP camera, at a rough price of $500. The 7MP selfie camera is meant to bring awesome pics quality, while the smartphone is supposed to be water and dustproof. You can find the new iPhone SE Plus in black, white, and red, as the available colors. In terms of design, the new iPhone SE Plus resembles the appearance of the iPhone XR, with a single rear camera and no physical home button.
Apple iPhone 13
The launch of the iPhone 12 series in October broke the usual pattern of Apple releases in September which made us all wonder about the next smartphone. 13 is usually seen as unlucky, but Apple’s plans already got the internet interested. The expected Apple iPhone 13 is already making waves in the online conversations, as nothing is confirmed yet.
Looking at the design of the new iPhone 13, it is likely that Apple will continue the recent refresh of a design that resembles the iPhone 4 or 5. So we believe the squarer edges are here to stay. Following the iPhone 12 series, the new one is supposed to offer OLED displays as well as better cameras for the Pro version. Expected to run on an A15 chip, iPhone 13 will take on the iOS 15 software (entering the market in June 2021).
Samsung Galaxy S21
The new line-up from Samsung is finally here, containing 3 of the most appreciated updates on their phones. These are the Samsung Galaxy S21, Galaxy S21+ and Galaxy S21 Ultra. Today, we are going to talk about the Samsung Galaxy S21, which can be found available already, the release official date being 29th of January. The starting price is £769 in the UK, which makes this Samsung new device slightly more affordable.
The flat display that replaced the curved edges of the previous Samsung models makes the phone itself better looking, while the frame integrating the rear cameras pulls a very stylish and modern look. The 6.2in AMOLED screen increases the vibrant performance Samsung got us used to. When it comes to storage options, Samsung Galaxy S21 can be found at 128GB and 256GB, while running on Exynos 2100.
Google Pixel 6
While the previous model, the Google Pixel 5 made quite the impression around users, they are truly impatient regarding existing rumors about the next one. The new Google Pixel 6 (or Pixel XE as some predict it might be called) is rumored to launch in September 2021, at an expected price of around $699.
Google intends to stick to their Pixel design for the new phone, with one major change – the beneath-display camera. Another rumor states that Pixel 6 utilizes two SIM slots and runs on Android 11 with an 8-core CPU.
Huawei P50
The latest Huawei devices, Huawei P40, Pro, and Huawei P40 Pro Plus managed to charm a huge number of users and got massive recognition. They all excel at battery life, power, and superb astonishing cameras. The major downside brought some worry over the new launch, as Huawei P40 did not allow access to Google Mobile Services. Fans think this problem won’t be solved in time for the launch of Huawei P50 but might suffer an improvement. This new device is supposed to arrive in March and fans will, most probably, have to pay around £699 in the UK for one.
LG Rollable
LG promises a new chapter in terms of screen technology, using the term “unique resizable screen” to describe the new LG Rollable. Technically, this rollable feature allows your phone to turn into a small tablet that follows the previous LG Wing.
The expandable OLED display with many other amazing details, under the LG Rollable new smartphone, was confirmed to hit the market later this year.
All the leaks and rumors the internet is harboring about this amazing new year in terms of smartphones promises an exciting year. Apple is coming strong with the much anticipated iPhone 13 and iPhone SE Plus, while Samsung raises the bar once again with the Galaxy S21. Great news coming from Google, with the new Pixel 6, and let’s not forget about the LG Rollable. In other words, we must mention some other desirable models from Samsung as well, that tend to defy the norms of smartphone screens. These are Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3 and Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Samsung Galaxy Z Fold E, devices that show a lot of ingenuity and promote the creative repurposing of the normal phone screen. Regardless of your needs, the smartphone market expects an explosive new year, with major stars waiting to impress every buyer.
