Bhadravati: Auto-rickshaw driver found brutally murdered

Bhadravati: An auto-rickshaw driver from Shivamogga was found brutally murdered in Bhadravati on Monday morning.
The lifeless body of the victim, identified as Roopesh Kumar, was found near APMC. From the injury marks observed, it is suspected that he may have been hit on the head with sticks. A blood-stained stick was also found next to the body, sources said.
The exact cause of the murder is yet to be ascertained.
Rupesh Kumar is originally from Holehonnur. He lived in Shivamogga and earned a living by driving an auto rickshaw.
Old Town police have registered a case and are investigating the matter.
