A doctor’s abrupt and unexplained disappearance for three consecutive days has led to the registration of a formal complaint at the local police station.
The missing doctor, identified as Umesh Devendrappa (34), is a dermatologist employed at a government hospital. Originally hailing from Nittoor in Harpanahalli, Vijayanagar district, he was stationed at Bhatkala Taluka Hospital. Dr. Devendrappa resided in a rented house in Durgaparameshwari Colony on Sagar Road with his wife.
The unusual series of events began on October 10 when, at 9 am, he informed his wife that he was leaving for work. However, he failed to return home in the evening, causing alarm among his family. Concerned about his sudden and unexplained absence, the doctor’s wife, Pooja H.T., lodged a formal complaint with the rural police station.
