Many viewers agree that film actresses get fewer opportunities in films and slowly lose demand after getting married. However, some of them continue to thrive in the film industry by bagging back-to-back films. They are open to new roles and remain active in films. Popular actress Bhavana Menon is one of those exceptions.

Bhavana, who is popular amongst Kannada film enthusiasts as Jackie Bhavana, is now the daughter-in-law of Karnataka. Many thought the Malayali beauty would shy away from the screen after marriage. But, Bhavana has proved them all wrong and has started her second innings as a heroine with new roles.

Post her wedding, Bhavana was seen in “Inspector Vikram” which hit the silver screens earlier this year. after getting married. If all goes well, three more films featuring Bhavana are in the pipeline to be screened by the year’s end. Two films with Bhavana in lead roles will be screened in October alone.

Yes, you heard it right. Bhavana plays the heroine in Shivarajkumar-starrer “Bhajrangi-2.” The promotional work for ‘Bhajrangi-2′ is ongoing and the film will open to the audience on October 28. In the meantime, Bhavana has also acted alongside Darling Krishna in “Srikrishna gmail.com’, which is also scheduled to screen on October 15.

Since both these films have officially announced their release date, Kannada viewers get a double-dose of Bhavana in October.

Additionally, Bhavana has been cast in “Govinda Govinda” which features Sumanth Shailendra and Rupesh Shetty. The film is highly expected for a year-end release. How successfully Bhavana can garner the attention of the audience through her varied roles remains to be seen.
