Bidar: Police arrest ATM card fraudster; seize 112 ATM cards

Bidar: Police here arrested an ATM fraudster and confiscated Rs 1.18 lakh cash, 112 ATM cards and a bike from him.
Tummal Udayakumar Ramalingaiah (39), from Narasaraopet in Andhra Pradesh, was arrested from outside an SBI ATM near KEB in the city.
Ramalingaiah on the pretence of helping people at ATM centres would learn their ATM’s PIN number and after distracting their attention would exchange their ATM cards.
Later, using the stolen ATM card and its PIN number, he would withdraw money from the ATM cardholder’s account.
