Biggest single-day spike in B’luru with 596 cases; DK reports 49 cases, Udupi 14 cases

Bengaluru: Karnataka reported 918 new cases with Bengaluru accounting for more than 50 per cent of the cases on Saturday, June 27.
Of the 916 new cases, 596 cases have been reported in Bengaluru followed by Dakshina Kannada with 49 cases.
The total tally of those infected rose to 11,923 as on Saturday. Till date, 7287 persons have been discharged while 4441 cases are active. The death toll stands at 191.
In the last 24 hours, 371 persons were discharged, 918 new cases and 11 fatalities reported.
With 49 new cases today, Dakshina Kannada’s tally of positive cases surged to 568. So far 374 persons have been discharged and 184 are active.
Udupi which tops districts in discharges, reported 14 new cases taking tally of those infected to 1139. 1038 persons have been discharged and 99 cases are active.
