Patna: A portion of a high-level RCC bridge over the Gandaj River in Bihar collapsed on Wednesday, July 15., just a month after inauguration by Chief Minister Nitish Kumar.
The cost of the bridge is said to be Rs. 263.48 and it is located at Sattarghat under the Kesaria block of East Champion. Chief Minister Nitish Kumar had inaugurated this bridge over the video conference on June 16.
It is gathered that the bridge was collapsed after increased water flows in the river due to heavy rainfall.
