Bike-bus head on collision; one dead

Udupi: A bike had a head-on collision with a private bus at Malpe on Monday.

The deceased has been identified as Manjunath Naik (25), from Hebri.

Manjunath was on his way to Hoode and the bus was travelling in the opposite direction when the accident took place.

It has been reported that the helmet was not of a good quality and the helmet split into two.

When he was rushed to a nearby hospital, he was declared brought dead.
