Bike-Swift car accident: Teacher grievously injured

Tekkatte: Geeta, a teacher of Kedur suffered serious injuries after a swift car collided into a bike on which she was riding pillion on Thursday afternoon.

Geeta was travelling on the bike being rode by her brother along the national highway at Tekkatte when a swift car plying from Maharashtra towards Kerala hit the bike in the rear. The force of the impact hurled the pillion rider to the road, thereby inflicting grievous injuries.

It is learnt that the injured were rushed to a private hospital in Manipal.

Apparently, the driver of the car which caused the accident fled after causing the accident and Kota Police have registered a case in this regard.
