Bantwal: A motorcycle parked outside a residency in Narikombu village’s Rathabeedi (car street) area was stolen on the night of January 26. The theft was captured on a CCTV camera.
MESCOM employee Anand, a resident of a rented house in the residency, had parked his bike as usual, in front of the building after returning from work.
The CCTV footage of the incident shows a man holding a lighter and walking toward the bike. He started the motorcycle with a key and drove away.
A case has been registered at Bantwal Town Police Station. Authorities have launched a search operation.
