Bikers made to squat for flouting lockdown rules

Kundapura: In a case of lockdown violation that occurred at Tallur under Kundapura rural police jurisdictional limits, police took to task few bikers who were caught riding their bikes here on Sunday, March 29.

The incident took place on Sunday afternoon. The police asked these violators to act like they were riding the two-wheeler, albeit without one.

A video of the incident that emerged on social media shows the violators in a squatted positions with their arms outstretched. Few minutes into the punishment, the violators appear to be exhausted and the policeman is heard shouting at them.
