Bill for regularisation of certain lands moved

Bengaluru: A bill was on Friday tabled in the Karnataka Assembly to facilitate disposal of pending applications for regularisation of certain lands.

It is titled Karnataka Land Revenue (Amendment) Bill, 2017.

Also tabled was Karnataka Minimum Wages (Karnataka Amendment) Bill, 2017 aimed to delegate the powers to adjudicate the claims to an officer not below the rank of Assistant Labour Commissioner and enhance certain penalties under certain sections and fines levied.
