Billy porter and Vogue invite Instagram users to take part in the #MetGalaChallenge

Fashion industry’s most glamorous nights, the annual Met Gala was due to take place on 4 May at New York’s Metropolitan Museum of Art. But has been postponed indefinitely due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Fashion lovers all over the world are disappointed with the postponement of the event and to commemorate this occasion many are taking part in the Met Gala challenge.
Billy Porter, has teamed up with Vogue to challenge budding home couturiers to recreate some of the most iconic looks from Met Galas, using items found at home, and post them on Instagram with the hashtag #metgalachallenge.
Users can join the challenge by re-creating their favourite Met Gala looks and posting the photo on social media using #MetGalaChallenge.
Porter and Vogue will then select a handful of the best posts to feature on the @voguemagazine, @metmuseum, and @metcostumeinstitute Instagram pages.
Instagram users got extremely creative with their looks, incorporating everything from old dresses and newspaper to plants and chandeliers.
