Biscuits, rusk worth Rs 3.5 lakh gutted after truck catches fire

Kundapur: A fire broke out in a truck laden with biscuits and rusk on Thursday on Siddapur-Kundapur road.
As per the sources, the truck caught fire when it approached the Kandlur police station. The vehicle was plying from Kundapur to Shivamogga.
Biscuits and rusk worth Rs 3.5 lakh approximately went up in flames.
The fire started due to the short circuit in the tail light of the vehicle. Following the incident, Kundapur fire service personnel reached the spot and extinguished the fire.
