Our eyes can’t seem to get a break after watching a never-ending barrage of the most odd, disgusting, and bizarre food combinations—from fruit tea to Maggi milkshake to gulab jamun paratha.
A viral video shows a street vendor cooking ‘Mango Maggi’ with a side of Slice – a culinary experiment not for the faint of heart.
A woman at a food stand can be seen pouring ghee (purified butter), Maggi masala, and some water into a pan before adding India’s famed noodles Maggi in a video published by popular Instagram food blog The Great Indian Foodie.
However, a few seconds later, the street vendor lavishly sprinkles Slice (a mango beverage) all over the noodle block and tops it off with freshly cut mango slices, and voila, your “Mango Maggi” is ready.

The video has been seen over 1.5 lakh times online, and it appears to have elicited a collective wince as horrified netizens overwhelmingly condemned the fusion.
Many food enterprises have turned to food fusion in the age of the internet and a compulsive drive for originality. While there isn’t much to say about the taste of these unusual meal combinations, they are an excellent method for gaining attention and engagement.
