Udupi: A 62-year-old businessman died on the spot following a head-on collision between a car and a bus near Guddeyangadi on Monday, February 3.
The deceased identified as K Krishna Pai, 62, a Karkala resident had reportedly come to Manipal for some work when the mishap took place.
The car in which Pai was travelling was totally damaged owing to the impact of the collision and locals managed to remove his body with difficulty.
A case has been registered at Hiriyadka Police Station.
