BJP activist hospitalised after murderous assault

Mangaluru: In a case of suspected political rivalry, a 28-year-old BJP activist was brutally assaulted by a gang at Munchoor here on Tuesday late night.
The injured identified as Yashodhar is undergoing treatment at Padmavathi Hospital here.
On Tuesday night, four persons namely – Diwakar, Dinesh Shetty, Ashwith Kulal and Yashodhara Agaramelu – assaulted Yashodhar and posed him with a death threat. It is gathered that the gang had been keeping an eye on Yashodhar’s movements for some time now.
A case has been registered at Suratkal police station and search is on for the absconding accused.
