New Delhi: Lok Sabha MP and leader of BJP’s ally Pattali Makkal Katchi (PMK), Anbumani Ramadoss on Thursday hit out at the Centre for allegedly not adhering to the Supreme Court ruling in setting up of Cauvery Management Board, saying “it is a political game plan”.

Taking part in a protest along with AIADMK MPs outside Parliament, he said, “The SC on February 16 clearly directed setting up of Cauvery Management Board in six weeks. This is a dictum from the SC and centre is not ready to set it up.”

“We got a verdict after 30 years of legal battle, but Centre is not adhering to it,” Ramadoss told reporters, adding, “We see this as a political game plan in the backdrop of elections in Karnataka.”
