The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has finally appointed Shikaripura MLA BY Vijayendra, the son of former Chief Minister BS Yeddyurappa as the new state president. T
he position was left vacant after the completion of Nalin Kumar Kateel’s tenure, and the delay in the appointment had been a subject of significant debate and speculation.
Following the BJP’s defeat in the recent assembly elections, the party leadership took its time in making the crucial appointment.
