BJP appoints in charges, conveners for 28 Lok Sabha constituencies

Bengaluru: Ahead of general elections the state BJP unit on Wednesday, November 21 released the list of in-charges and conveners to the 28 Lok Sabha constituencies in Karnataka.
While the party had made it appointments in other states a few months ago, the announcement in Karnataka comes last owing to the 2018 state assembly elections followed by the recent by-polls.
BS Yeddyurappa, state BJP President and head of the core-committee selected the leaders for each constituency after due consideration and bearing in mind the party rule which requires the appointment of leader who is an outsider to a constituency.

Dakshina Kannada – Sunil Kumar
Udupi-Chikmagalur – Araga Jnanendra
Bangalore Rural – Ashwathnarayana
Bangalore Central – Ashwathnarayana
Bangalore North – B H Krishna Reddy
Bangalore South -Subba Narasimha
Bellary – Jagadish Shettar
Koppal – Sriramulu
Hassan – C T Ravi
Shimoga – Vishweshwara Hegde Kageri
