BJP’s Chowta, Kota win Dakshina Kannada, Udupi seat

Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP) Captain Brijesh Chowta has secured a commanding lead over his Congress rival,Padmaraj R Poojari.

BJP workers and supporters also gathered for celebration in Mangaluru to celebrate the victory.

In the constituency, the BJP had dropped sitting MP Nalin Kumar Kateel and chosen Captain Brijesh Chowta instead.

BJP also celebrates the lead victory of Kota Srinivas Poojary at Udupi BJP office, Kadiyali.
