BJP candidates ahead in 23 LS seats in state

Bengaluru: The BJP was ahead in twenty-three of the twenty-eight Lok Sabha seats in the state while the Congress was leading in three, JD(S) in one seat and others in one seat, as per the trends available so far.
State BJP president BS Yeddyurappa’s son BY Raghavendra leads by one lakh plus votes in Shivamogga.
Dakshina Kannada’s BJP candidate Nalin Kumar leads over 108104 votes against Mithun Rai of Congress.
Chikkodi BJP candidate Annasaheb Jolle leads over Prakash Hukkeri of Congress.
Pratap Simha maintains the lead against Vijayashankar of Congress in Mysuru.
BJP’s Tejasvi Surya leading by over 1 lakh votes in Bangalore South. BJP s Shobha Karandlaje is leading by 36883 votes in Udupi-Chikmagalur.
BJP candidate Dr Umesh Jadhav leads by 22,467 over Congress candidate Mallikarjun Kharge in Gulbarga Lok Sabha constituency
Bangalore Central independent candidate, Prakash Raj trails with 2.25 per cent vote share, gets 11,306 votes out of 5,01,660.
Prajwal Revanna is leading in Hassan even after the 6th round of counting.
Congress veterans Mallikarjun Kharge (Gulbarga), M Veerappa Moily (Chikkaballapur) and KH Muniyappa (Kolar) are trailing.
