BJP does not need internal agreement in by-election: Nalin Kumar Kateel

Chikmagalur: “People have confidence in the BJP government. The party is in the first place even before the by-elections. We have 117 seats in the assembly, we do not need internal agreement. Ours is a national party, internal agreement does not make us strong,” said BJP State president Nalin Kumar Kateel here.

He further added that BJP will win in both RR Nagar and Sira constituencies. Congress is a strong contender for us while JD(S) will be third in both constituencies. We will win RR Nagar with a lead of more than 50 thousand votes and Shira by 15-20 thousand votes.

“Voters in both constituencies are outraged against the Congress and JD(S). Congress and JDS have won in Shira for decades. Jayachandra won twice but did nothing for the constituency. During the Kumaraswamy government, no development occurred in the constituency. CM Yediyurappa responded to the problems of the forest dwellers through forming a development corporation. This is why people have confidence in us now,” he said.
