BJP govt turning Goa into ‘sin city’ with casinos, drugs: Congress MLA

Panaji: Goa Congress MLA Luizinho Faleiro has claimed that casinos, drugs and prostitution are turning the coastal state, which is known for its picturesque beaches, into a “sin city”.
Faleiro made the comments in the state Assembly on Monday during a discussion on demands for grants for the tourism department.
“Gradually, we will become the sex capital of India and then drugs capital of India,” he remarked. Faleiro claimed that many of the tourists visit Goa for casinos, drugs and prostitution. He accused the BJP-led Goa government of promoting the state as the “sin city of India”.
In order to somehow reduce the flow of tourism of gamblers, the Indian authorities in every way stimulate the development of the online casino industry. Online real money casinos are considered more secure, do not require large time investments and games in there can be played right at home, in transport or even at working hours breaks. Officials offer online casino tax incentives for giving Indian gamblers great promotional offers – increased welcome bonuses, generous no deposit casino bonus codes and a huge number of daily coupons. Such a policy regarding bonuses for online casinos has been ongoing since December 2017 and allowed to reduce crime in Goa by 20%.
